How to WIN the Challenge?

Step 1

Discover the unique capabilities of the DHM® for vibration and transient analysis.

DHM® is the world ONLY non-scanning 4D profilometer. It enables dynamic 4D topography and full field vibration analysis at incomparable speed. You benefit of unique capabilities to characterize your device:

  • Million-data-points (dots) per frame image enables measurement of vibration maps with an unmatched lateral resolution
  • Picometer vibration resolution for all pixels of the field of view
  • Frequencies up to 25MHz for both in- and out-of-plane
  • Full field transient analysis reveals unsurpassed details on the transient processes
  • Quasi Unlimited sample surfaces with our unique combined stitching & stroboscopic mode
  • Ultra fast acquisition and analysis, saving your precious time

Step 2

Register to Lyncée Tec Challenge 2022 with your sample that should be the best DHM MEMS analyzer showcase

Phase 1 - Registration

  • May 9th, 2022: Registration opening.
    Sample description to be provided.
  • July 30th, 2022, 12 am CET: Registration ends
  • August 10th, 2022: Announcement of the top 10 applications

Phase 2 - for the 10 top applications selected only

  • August 10th to November 30th, 2022, 12 am CET:
    - send sample to Lyncée for measurements,
    - or perform measurements if you have access to a DHM MEMS analyzer and send data to Lyncée
  • January 15th, 2023: Announcement of the winner
  • June 30th 2023: Latest date for award delivery

Step 3

Showcase with your sample making the most of the unique capabilities of the DHM® MEMS analyzer

A Rotating CMUT

A Vibrating Gyroscope

The WINNER of the challenge will be the one who best exploits the unique potential of the DHM® MEMS analyzer by Lyncée. The following criteria will be considered

  • Feasibility and adaptation to DHM® unique specificities
  • Exploitation of DHM full-field of view vibration and  transient analysis potential
  • Necessity of high laterally resolution
  • Complexity, uniqueness, and awesomeness of the vibration mode shapes
  • Scientific and/or industrial impact
  • Aestheticism and artistic character of the measures

Step 4

Win a DHM® Holographic MEMS Analyzer !

The prize* for Lyncée Tec Challenge 2022 is a DHM Holographic MEMS Analyzer configured for the basic MEMS analysis:

  • Single wavelength without OPL
  • Single objective without turret
  • Single channel stroboscopic unit
  • Manual stage
  • MEMS Analysis Tool

*If the winner is an existing DHM user, an equivalent upgrade will be provided - if desired.
